اللْهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُعَنِّي
Allahumma innaka afuwwun tuhibbulafwa fafuannee
O Allah, You are Most Forgiving; You love forgiveness; so forgive me
This dua can be recited at any time but is typically recited during the last ten nights of Ramadan, especially on Laylatul Qadr.
Laylatul Qadr, also known as the Night of Power, is a holy night in Islam that occurs during the last 10 nights of Ramadan. It is believed to be the night when the first verses of the Quran were revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by the Angel Jibril in 610 CE. Muslims believe that worshiping on this night is more rewarding than a thousand nights. Therefore, Muslims stay up in worship and recite duas like this.
