"Fakarouni" Khayamiya NO. 5 Print

#5--A print of the the fifth canvas of The Pointinkk Khayamiya Series— Fakarouni (فكروني, “They Reminded Me”), inspired by the legendary Umm Kulthum. Painted in Arabic calligraphy and framed with the vibrant patterns of Egyptian Khayamiya 

This fabric is called Khayamiya (خيامية). An old Egyptian textile art, stitched by hand with bold, geometric patterns. These cloths light up wedding tents, Ramadan nights, and street festivals in Cairo. Carrying that history forward feels like carrying memory itself—woven into something new.
