"Ahwak" Khayamiya NO. 2 Print

#2-- A print of the the second canvas of The Pointinkk Khayamiya Series — Ahwak (أهواك, “I love you”), inspired by the timeless voice of Abdelhalim Hafez. Originally hand painted in Arabic calligraphy and framed with a vibrant blue khayamiya pattern💙

Some of you might recognize this fabric — it’s called Khayamiya (خيامية). It’s an old Egyptian textile art, originally stitched by hand with bold, geometric patterns. These cloths light up wedding tents, Ramadan nights, and street festivals in Cairo. Bringing that history into my work feels like carrying a piece of celebration and heritage into a new form.
